The Rowing Foundation provides capital equipment grants of £500 to £4,000 to UK rowing clubs, schools and organisations involved in on-water rowing activities. Funding supports the purchase of equipment and boat refurbishments that increase participation in rowing among young people, students and disabled rowers. Grants are awarded on a matched-funding basis, covering up to 50% of project costs.

Priority is given to projects that help get participants ‘on the water’, including the purchase of boats, sculls, oars, riggers and related equipment. Applicants must be based in the UK and demonstrate clear benefits for junior, student or adaptive rowing programmes.
