The Michael Marks Charitable Trust supports registered charities that are involved in the promotion and conservation of culture and the environment.

The Trust supports various projects, such as museums and art galleries, exhibitions and exhibition catalogues, old churches of the Celtic and Anglo-Saxon periods, restore various historical artefacts, support orchestras which perform classical music and commission new compositions of classical music. They also support various research and conservation projects in universities and libraries.

No maximum grant size is specified, however they are typically under £10,000.
