Fund: Medway Council – Crisis & Resilience Fund

Fund: Medway Council – Crisis & Resilience Fund

Organisation: Medway Council
Up to: £15000
Deadline: Sunday 22nd November 2026, 5pm
Funded by the UK Government through Medway Council’s Crisis and Resilience Fund and delivered in partnership with Medway Voluntary Action, grants of up to £15,000 are available to projects that improve financial resilience, help residents to better manage financial shocks and prevent the occurrence, reoccurrence and escalation of crises.
The fund is specifically looking for projects that provide better outcomes for:
  • Carers
  • Those needing food support
  • Those experiencing health inequalities
  • Those over state pension age
  • Anyone needing financial resilience help and debt resolution
Projects must provide direct support to people experiencing challenges, inequalities or circumstances that place them at risk of a financial crisis. Projects should focus on crisis prevention, helping people to become financially independent rather than providing emergency support. This could include:
  • Direct support
  • Early intervention
  • Practical advice
  • Skills and confidence building
  • Food and essential needs support
  • Health and wellbeing activities
  • Support for carers
  • Community based activities

Applicants should demonstrate who they will support, the outcomes they expect to achieve and how they will be measured, alongside how their project will create lasting impact. Strong applications will show partnership working, effective referral pathways, and, where appropriate, the involvement of people with lived experience in shaping or delivering the project.

Important! Organisations must be a Social Impact Gateway (SIG) Affiliate before submitting an application. Applications are submitted through the SIG, and organisations must be deemed “Grant Ready” before receiving access to the application form.

  • Already a SIG Affiliate? An application form will be sent to you if you are deemed ‘Grant Ready’.
  • Not yet a SIG Affiliate? Apply to become an affiliate now so you can apply for the grant, link here: https://form.jotform.com/250894250316052
