Fund: Rewilding Britain – Rewilding Innovation Fund

Fund: Rewilding Britain – Rewilding Innovation Fund

Organisation: Rewilding Britain
Up to: £15000
Deadline: Saturday 5th September 2026

The Rewilding Innovation Fund, delivered by Rewilding Britain, offers grants of up to £15,000 for projects across England, Scotland, and Wales that help remove barriers to rewilding and accelerate nature recovery at scale.

The fund supports projects at various stages of development, from early planning and feasibility work through to testing innovative approaches that can unlock future funding opportunities and increase the impact of rewilding initiatives. Funding can be used for activities such as:

– Business planning and development
– Feasibility and scoping studies
– Community engagement and stakeholder consultation
– Trialling new technologies and innovative approaches
– Other work that enables projects to progress along the rewilding journey

Rewilding Britain prioritises projects with the potential to deliver significant benefits for both people and nature, while also creating opportunities for learning and knowledge sharing across the Rewilding Network.

To be eligible, projects must:

– Be located in Britain (England, Scotland, or Wales)
– Cover at least 40 hectares of contiguous land, or be a marine rewilding project of any size
– Be a member of the Rewilding Network (organisations can join as part of the application process)
– Demonstrate a commitment to rewilding at scale in line with Rewilding Britain’s principles

This funding presents an excellent opportunity for landowners, partnerships, community groups, and organisations seeking to develop ambitious rewilding projects and overcome key obstacles to delivering long-term environmental impact.

Deadline: Saturday 5th September 2026
