The Little Cheyne Court Wind Farm Fund supports charities, voluntary organisations and community groups located within a six-mile radius of the wind farm, situated seven miles east of Lydd on Romney Marsh. The fund is financed by Little Cheyne Court Wind Farm Ltd, operated by RWE, and provides grants for projects that deliver environmental, educational and community benefits to local residents.

The fund is administered in partnership with Kent Community Foundation, which manages the application and grant-making process.

Grant Information

Grants of up to £7,500 are available to support community activities and minor capital expenditure, including:

  • Purchasing equipment
  • Producing publicity and promotional materials
  • Developing or delivering pilot projects
  • Contributing towards organisational running costs
  • Undertaking minor capital works
