The Elise Pilkington Charitable Trust offers capital grants typically between £2,500 and £15,000 to support UK registered charities working within the equine welfare. Charities must be members the National Equine Welfare Council (NEWC), or proactively working towards NEWC membership.

The Trust is particularly interested in supporting initiatives that take a proactive and creative approach to tackling the root causes of welfare issues. Projects may include practical interventions, education, or other innovative solutions designed to prevent suffering before it occurs. Core costs, if they directly support delivery of your project (e.g. staff time, rent, utilities used for this work), may be included in your application.
