Grants of £1,000–£7,500 are available to UK-registered charities supporting higher and further education, research, bursaries, museum and library collections, conservation/environmental research, and teacher training or educational resources in developing countries.

The Trust prefers funding specific projects rather than large fundraising appeals and does not normally support primary, secondary or early years education, capital building projects, clinical trials, or performing arts organisations. Funding can only be awarded to charitable organisations, not individuals.

Successful applicants cannot reapply in consecutive years.
