FFA awarded National Lottery funding!

We are thrilled to share that Funding for All has successfully been awarded £349,305 of National Lottery funding to continue helping Kent & Medway voluntary sector community groups to develop their fundraising capacity!

Founded in 2012, Funding for All is a small team making a big impact! Since receiving our last National Lottery Community Fund Reaching Communities grant in April 2021, Funding for All has helped local voluntary sector groups to raise over £5.8 million and develop essential fundraising skills that will help strengthen their organisation’s future.

I have never had such in-depth advice and such helpful direction as to where to go to find out more, refine our applications, and the different ways in which we can source funding by branching out and looking in different areas and perhaps redefining the way we present ourselves.”

The new funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, which distributes money raised by National Lottery players for good causes and is the largest community funder in the UK, will see Funding for All continue expert mentoring for VCFSEs; webinars on all aspects of funding and fundraising; 1-2-1 funding advice days; funding conferences, including specialist conferences on funding for environmental projects; youth; LGBGTQIA+ and how funding applications can help EDIB to be truly transformative for groups.

The funding will also help us to introduce Fundraising Strategy Days for trustee bodies, a Steering Group, and a new peer-to-peer support scheme creating a new post (apply here), further encouraging and supporting people trying to make a difference in their communities, by seeking funding for their groups.

Kerry Donati, Charity Manager of Funding for All says: “We’re delighted that The National Lottery Community Fund has recognised our work in this way. Now, thanks to National Lottery players we will be able to develop new practical support to individuals who are working so hard in this difficult funding landscape to bring in the resources their VCFSE so desperately needs. It is such a challenging time, with many previously reliable funding sources drying up. Our work helps groups build the skills within their teams to find their own solutions, and to be financially resilient, doing more, for more people, for longer.”

Work has begun with our first Fundraising Strategy Day already delivered, and a fantastic series of training events, meet the funder advice days and our first themed conference focusing on funding for environmental projects open for booking!

From the whole Funding for All team, thank you!
