Fund: The National Lottery Community Fund – National Lottery Awards for All England

Fund: The National Lottery Community Fund – National Lottery Awards for All England

Organisation: The National Lottery Community Fund
Up to: £10000
Deadline: Ongoing

The National Lottery Community Fund’s Awards for All England offers grants of between £300 and £10,000 for grassroots and community activity that aims to:

  • build strong relationships in and across communities
  • improve the places and spaces that matter to communities
  • help more people to reach their potential, by supporting them at the earliest possible stage
  • support people, communities and organisations that are facing increased demands and challenges as a direct result of the cost-of-living crisis

Charities, community or not-for-profit groups, parish or town councils, health bodies, or schools are eligible to apply. You do not need to be a registered charity to apply, however you must have a bank account that requires at least two people to sign each cheque or withdrawal. Groups with smaller incomes will be prioritised. National Lottery Awards for All will fund activities that benefit, and involve, the community, including costs associated to:

  • your organisation’s running costs
  • small land or refurbishment projects
  • equipment
  • one-off events
  • staff costs
  • training costs
  • transport
  • utilities
  • volunteer expenses

From 15 November, midday Awards for All will increase the:

  • length of time projects can be funded – up to two years
  • maximum funding you can apply for – up to £20,000

You can still only hold one National Lottery Awards for All grant at a time. This means if you apply for up to £10,000 before 15 November you would not be able to apply for more funding until your project is complete. You will not be able to ask for top-ups. If you would like to ask for more than £10,000 and less than £20,000 then you should wait until 15 November to apply. The time it takes to assess and pay successful applicants is still 16 weeks.
