The CLA Charitable Trust provides one-off grants, typically under £5,500, to small to medium UK registered charities and not for profit organisation with a clear social purpose that access the benefits of the countryside to pursue the health and wellbeing of people and to provide opportunities for education about the countryside in England and Wales.

Priority areas include: Children and young people, and disadvantaged financially, physically, mentally, or from areas of deprivation.

Applications for running costs, project works and capital works are eligible. Evidence of need should be demonstrated.

Deadline: Ongoing. Trustees meet three times a year with meetings usually scheduled in February, July and October.
