The Astor of Hever Trust awards small grants, typically under £2,000 to registered charities in the UK, in particular Kent or the Grampian region, undertaking projects in the arts, medicine, religion, education, conservation, youth and sport. The trustees have a particular interest in supporting local youth organisations and generally helping medical research and education programmes.
Note to applicants: The Trust continues to receive very many more requests for donations than can possibly be met. While it remains the policy of the trustees to review as many requests as possible the trustees do give preference to donation requests outlined in a personally written letter which is signed by a representative of the charity.
The Foundation does not operate a website, but more information, including their annual reports, can be found on the Charity Commission’s register of charities.
