The second round of Ofcom’s Community Radio Fund 2023 to 2024 is open for applications. The Fund supports the of running Ofcom-licensed community radio stations in the UK, broadcasting on AM, FM, or via a C-DSP licence on a digital radio multiplex.
Grants are to help fund the core costs of running Ofcom licensed community radio stations. These core functions include:
- management
- fundraising to support the station (e.g. grants, commercial funding)
- administration
- financial management and reporting
- community outreach
- volunteer organisation and support
There is no limit to how much can be applied for however previous grants have ranged between £5,300 up to £25,802, with an average of £16,418.
