Lloyds Bank Foundation’s Specialist Programme awards a three-year unrestricted grant of £75,000, plus tailored development support, to small, local, specialist charities supporting people facing complex issues.
Under this programme the Foundation will support small charities (with an annual income between £25,000 to £500,000) to strengthen their capacity and capabilities, and thrive beyond the lifetime of their funding. To be eligible, applicants must have one of the following eight themes outlined below as their main focus of support. The themes are:
- Addiction
- Asylum Seekers and Refugees
- Care leavers
- Domestic Abuse
- Homelessness
- Offending
- Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
- Trafficking and Modern Slavery
The Foundation is keen to partner with organisations that demonstrate they:
- provide in-depth services
- have trusted relationships or partnerships
- offer person-centre services and personal plans
Priority will also be given to applicants that can show they:
- understand the makeup of the communities they support and work with
- recognise the people in those communities who experience inequity
- proactively reach and engage with people to address the inequity they experience
- are inclusive and make people feel welcomed, valued and that they belong
