Big Change Starts Small

At Funding for All, we believe that big change starts small – with people who care enough to act. That’s why we help charities and community groups across Kent and Medway build the skills and confidence they need to fund their future.

Through mentoring, funding advice, and online training, we offer tools to turn passion into progress. If you have the vision, we’ll help you build the power; because when one person or project thrives, a whole community does too.

Funding for All began in 2006 as ‘Funding Buddies’, reflecting our commitment to walk alongside the sector as it navigates the often complex and isolating world of funding and fundraising.

FFA Buddies brings this spirit to life. Our membership scheme is a community of people supporting each other – giving as well as receiving and creating impact together.

Yes. Membership is for individuals, so anyone from your team can join. The more people who understand fundraising, the stronger your organisation, and the sector overall, becomes.

No, anyone with an interest in the voluntary sector is welcome to join FFA Buddies, wherever you’re based. Funding for All delivers its core services in Kent and Medway, but our online community, resources and peer‑support network are open to individuals from across the UK who share our values and want to build their fundraising knowledge.

We keep things simple. Our Buddy community is built on trust, respect and a shared commitment to supporting one another – and we ask all members to uphold that spirit. We actively moderate the platform and may get in touch if we feel someone’s behaviour doesn’t align with the ethos of the scheme. You can help keep the space safe and welcoming too: if you see anything concerning, please contact ffabuddies@fundingforall.org.uk.

To maintain a positive, peer‑supportive environment, please keep in mind:

  • The community isn’t a promotional space. Membership must not be used for personal or commercial gain, and we may end access for anyone using the platform in this way.
  • Membership is individual. Logins shouldn’t be shared with colleagues or friends.
  • Kindness, generosity and respect matter. This is a place to collaborate, ask questions and support each other – not to sell, criticise or compete.

These guidelines help ensure the Buddy community remains a safe, inclusive and trusted space for everyone.
