Get ready for a packed day of fundraising knowhow at our Funding Conference on 14 November in Ramsgate.
Exclusively for charities and voluntary sector organisations in the Thanet district to acquire new knowledge, exchange ideas, and expand their reach!
The day will run from 10am-3pm, and will provide you and your group the opportunity to:
- meet with funders
- hear directly from funders about their current priorities
- have training on skills to support you for successful fundraising
- receive 1-2-1 funding advice about your specific funding needs
- share fresh ideas for funding
- network and build collaborations with other groups in the district

Training
- Fundraising Strategy: An in-depth look at the benefits to your organisation in having a fundraising strategy, what to include, the process for putting it together and how it will position you to increase your success with funding.
- Diversifying your Income: A full overview of the different funding sources that are available to voluntary sector organisations in Thanet, and how to map out and plan to build the right skill set to be able to bring in funding from a wider range of sources.
- Exploring Partnership Funding: An interactive workshop where you can explore potential partnership funds. This workshop will be followed up by support from FFA to help identified partnership bids be developed to fruition.
- Funding Sources for CICs: An interactive workshop exploring funding routes and income generation for CICs.
Chris Knott Insurance, Kent Coast Volunteering, Social Enterprise Kent and Stronger Kent Communities will all be available throughout the day to discuss the support and services they provide to the voluntary sector.

Funding for All’s Funding Conference for Thanet VCSEs is generously funded by Thanet District Council as part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and forms part of the Council’s FREE Community Champions Programme designed to support Thanet’s voluntary sector to strengthen and build capacity.
