FFA Funding Conference

A free day of training, networking and expert advice for Kent & Medway charities and VCSEs.

This conference will have focused training on Corporate Fundraising, with presentations from a Corporate Fundraiser and a Corporate on what they look for.

There will also be opportunities for one-to-one sessions with Kent Community Foundation and FFA Funding Advisers, where you can get specific advice for the funding and fundraising challenges of your VCSE. In the afternoon you can meet with Imago and there will be a networking session for VCSEs in the Tonbridge and Malling District.

Open to all VCSEs in Kent and Medway. If you would like to stay for the afternoon session, please state at time of booking. This is a free training day, and we ask you to consider making a donation towards our work supporting Kent and Medway VCSEs with funding needs.

 

Timings for the day:

9.30-10am: Arrivals, registration, coffees and networking

10-10.10am: Introduction to Funding for All and what services we provide to Kent & Medway VCSEs

10.10-11am: Corporate Fundraising – How to Build Connections and Approach Corporates

11-11.15am: Comfort break

11.15-11.45am: A Corporate’s Perspective – What Motivates a Corporate to Support a VCSE

11.45am-12.10pm: Kent Community Foundation – An Overview of Funding Available

12.10-1pm: Workshop – How to Make ‘The Ask’

1-2pm: Lunch break* and One-to-Ones.

2-3pm: Imago – What Support is available to VCSEs in Tonbridge & Malling District plus a Networking Session

 

Funding for All Fundraising Advisers will offer one-to-one funding advice sessions between 11am and 3pm – bookable on the day only.

*Please note, lunch is not provided however there is an on-site cafe where lunch can be ordered from.
