Grants of up to £2,500 are available to local community groups and charities to help towards supporting borough wide community initiatives in 2025/26. A budget of £50,000 has been secured by Cabinet to coincide with the 50th anniversary year of Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council.

The fund aims to support innovative projects that achieve at least one of these goals:

• Helping vulnerable communities through the cost-of-living crisis
• Supporting healthy lifestyles
• Improving community safety
• Helping people gain skills to access the workplace
• Supporting environmental and carbon reduction initiatives

The Council will consider applications for core funding to support the on-going work of voluntary and community groups but will give higher priority to those applications seeking funding for a specific project or purchase.
