The Masonic Charitable Foundation is dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children and young people in England and Wales. The Foundation’s Charity Grants programme is open to registered charities in England and Wales working with any of their four main priority groups:
- Early Years (aged 0-5), with a focus on poverty and neglect
- Children and young people (aged 0-25) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
- Children and young people (aged 0-18) affected by Domestic Abuse
The Small Grants programme awards grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 per year, for up to three years to smaller charities whose annual income is between £25,000 and £500,000.
Small grants are unrestricted and do not have to be used on a specific purpose, although grant recipients are asked to report on how they used the funding.
The total amount of the grant requested must not exceed 20 per cent of the total income of the charity, averaged over the past two years.
