NatWest (/Royal Bank of Scotland)’s Community Business Loans provide investment of between £30,000 and £750,000 to established charities, social enterprises, community interest companies or co-operatives that:
- have social or environmental aims, reinvesting profits to deliver a positive impact
- are financially sustainable
- are investment ready in terms of management, governance and financial position
- can demonstrate a sustainable business model and capacity to service the borrowing
- are not eligible for mainstream funding from banks
The top three impact areas the loan supports are:
- Employment, education and training for those furthest from the marketplace
- Delivery of services to the most disadvantaged people/communities
- Community regeneration
Loans are secured and offer flexible terms including capital repayment holidays if you need them.
